Hello and Welcome!

Hello and welcome to my blog! This has been a long time coming with multiple people suggesting on multiple occasions for multiple years that I really ought to start a blog. Ah, resistance. I know it well! But, now is the time.

As a health coach and food lover, I’m excited to share what I’ve learned (and I’m still learning!) about health and nutrition. Some of you know that an interest in health and wellness is something that naturally evolved in me due to my own chronic health issues that started with a severe case of eczema at birth. Eczema isn’t intuitively something you’d expect someone to be grateful for, but believe it or not, I am. If I hadn't been born with terrible, painful eczema that caused countless itchy sleepless nights and significant emotional pain and self-consciousness from feeling like I needed to hide my skin, I think that my health would be far worse off today because I wouldn’t have had the same drive to understand what makes a healthy body. So, thank you eczema. It is really because of this condition that I am here today starting this health coaching business to help others create health in their bodies and minds.

My intention with this blog is to share relevant health and wellness information and recipes that can help you integrate healthy habits into your daily life and understand why it’s important in the first place. The focus may shift over time, but supporting you on your health journey is the primary goal.

I’m so thankful to all of the people in my life who have been supportive in helping me to overcome obstacles and to do the work that I truly want to do. There is always further to go in life and in health, but all of the little steps we take along the way add up. I know it may sound cliché, but it’s true. I’m going to keep stepping and I hope that all of your steps lead you to somewhere wonderful too.
